Can this be the best Off-Broadway show of 2024?
Hey hey, #MYCreatives what’s going on?
Definitely had to pull up to the Premiere of “Another Shot”.
“Another Shot” is a comedic play that packs a punch of humor, heart, and a little dose of reality. The story revolves around a group of people who are rehabilitating at an alcoholic detox program, when a new patient arrives, and things goes array from there.
The characters are relatable, each with their quirks and flaws, making their interactions both hilarious and touching.

The dialogue is snappy, full of wit and clever banter, keeping the audience laughing throughout. But it’s not all laughs; the play expertly weaves in moments of vulnerability and introspection, giving depth to the humor.
The set is cleverly designed, transforming seamlessly from one scene to another, adding to the fast pace of the play. With strong performances from the cast, “Another Shot” is a delightful blend of humor and heart, leaving the audience with a warm, fuzzy feeling long after the final curtain call.
Director; Jackson Gay and productions staff put a well together play on display this past Tuesday Night (October 15th).

I enjoyed the acting, as well as just alone the story behind his great comedy and dramatic play. It’s a must see, wouldn’t suggest all family members unless they’re over 17 years old, other than that “Another Shot” is that play for the close out of 2024, and should see awards soon!!!!
